If I ruled the world: I would help all those who have been forgotten about by society, I would make sure that every child would have a family and a home to call there own and I would give urgent medical care to those who would never be able to afford it on there own. I would try to close the gap of extreme poverty and wealth.

I should win the title because: It would allow me to help my people in Somalia that are fighting for their lives every day, I would continue to raise funds to send back home for the single mothers and campaign to raise awareness on the destruction taking place in my homeland.

Being Somali means the world to me coming from a close knit community where family are the most valuable thing has helped me to see that although we are portrayed badly by the media I will never be ashamed of the land I was born in because it has made me learn how to fight through adversity and hold onto my culture and traditions and instead of hiding the things that make us different from other countries showing them off loud and proud!
