If I ruled the world: I would give everyone freedom of education, free access to the health care system, take care of the orphans and people who are in need. I would priorotise bringing help to Africa and most of all bring peace upon Somalia and the rest of the world.

I should win the title because: I am already very involved within my community, college and my local area. Many people that know me get really surprised with the amount that I have achieved at my age compared to others that are the same age as me. I believe that we are the future of our country, My dream is to be the best role model I can be for my community and make my parents as proud as I possibly can. I don’t want to become Miss Somali UK 2009 just to win the title but also to be role model for the community.

Being Somali means: Being proud of my culture, tradition, language, being East African, smart, intelligent, respectful. Taking pride in saying “I am Somali”. Being a Somali means to believe in my people and myself however bad the situation gets. Being Somali is a blessing. Being Somali is being different and unique from others.  Most of all I know that no matter how far I go or wherever I live I will always be Somali and proud to be.
